Mudlark No. 39 (2010)

2 There’s nothing like a plurality of complementary sections actively engaging and disengaging to get you worked up. In some states that’s illegal, depending on who the sections belong to. In St. Louis, a house with more than five women living together is by definition a brothel. Even were I to successfully expose this nonexistent statute as mere titillation, the sentiment would still persist.

3 Our complementary surfaces have been in alignment for going on nine months. It’s a continual process of re-calibration, of sliding back and forth.

4 The question is, when will I snip the plumbing, disengage the machinery? Will I break the mold after a single printing? Which direction will we move relative to one another once the mold has been emptied? What does it mean to be a father in the 21st century?
