Curious Destiny

You had to lose yourself in the labyrinths of the earth through which the angels pass, dressed as bandits, and take careless souls hostage. That was your curious destiny, written in a postscript of the great Book in which God writes down the trifling accounts with those not of His flock.

Your guardian angel tied up your wrists with a deferred enchantment. That is why you are, in mid-life, practicing solitary mirages with the reflections of light, to see if the face of the God in Whom you do not believe will appear some day among the branches of the forest.

Curioso destino
